Dedication: The idea for this one should be credited to Da Robot of the Nintendo Database forum who pointed out to me that Nidoqueen's are unable to breed.

I should also point out that I draw these usually two days before they are posted. Yesterday, I found out that a good friend of mine is pregnant. I want to dedicate this to her. If you're reading this, you know you had my heart. I never would've asked you to do anything against your will, but I've still been a horrible friend because I let my emotions get in the way of who you wanted me to be.

There is no preset path in life that we are forced to follow, we each choose where we go and plenty of us have made choices that we regret. Meeting you was not one for me. I wish you the best and hope your life gets back on track.

: really sweet ówò

: Silly people, Nidorina ALSO are incapable of breeding.

It's so weird why Nidoran male, Nidorino and Nidoking can all breed, but only Nidoran female can. It's like, really awkward too.

Reply Inxerene, December 17th, 2011, 10:59 am

: I think they did that on purpose to poke-block people. That's like saying Latios and Latias can't breed at all, despite having actual gender and being the same species. But did you know that a Nidoqueen CAN breed with a Rhyhorn?

Reply tveye, December 17th, 2011, 12:42 pm

: @Jamboree: I like to mess with people's sense of emotion ;)

@Manga-Ka: I'm glad you think so :)

@Crystalbear: I know that XD
I like to imply evolving as growing up though, and in my transition Nidorina was the teenage phase.
And yes, the whole breeding thing is confusing. That's why I stick with Ditto's XD

@Inxerene: I did not know that! I just thought Nidoqueen's were incapable of breeding :o
Oh well, let's hope this one doesn't cheat on Niddy with a Rhyhorn! (No, I'm not baiting you guys, that's not gonna happen ;D)

Reply Crystalbear, December 17th, 2011, 1:07 pm

: @tveye: Inxerene was referring to the Mewtwo Returns special in which a Nidoqueen bred with a Rhydon. It's impossible to breed Nidoqueen in the games regardless of what.

Reply Kiiouex, December 17th, 2011, 5:22 pm

: This is oddly evocative. Good job, and I hope everything goes well for your friend.

Reply Inxerene, December 17th, 2011, 5:42 pm

: @Crystalbear: Mood ruiner! I was hoping they would get the reference. >3

Reply Crystalbear, December 17th, 2011, 5:45 pm

: @Inxerene: Who would get a reference to such an obscure special as Mewtwo Returns? Most have only seen the actual TV episodes and the movies.

Reply NuzlockingMagma, December 17th, 2011, 9:01 pm

: @Crystalbear: Uhm, Mewtwo Returns is a movie, it's just not as known (When I found out about it, I thought it was the first movie that I made my mom get 'cause I wanted to sing to Brother My Brother XD)

Reply Crystalbear, December 17th, 2011, 9:13 pm

: @NuzlockingMagma: No.

You're thinking of Mewtwo Strikes Back, in which he invited all of these trainers to fight him. Mewtwo Returns is a special, or rather an OVA, where Team Rocket locate him and the other clones from the movie and try to capture them. It's a sequel to the movie. The movie didn't have the Nidoqueen and Rhydon family, the special did.

The reason why they get mixed up is because the names are too damn similar. =P

: @Kiiouex: Me too...she's, not the smartest when it comes to men. I think he's going to dump her. He already has twice before...

@Inxerene: Great, now I gotta watch those movies again >:P

@NuzlockingMagma: Yeah, Mewtwo Returns is the special. I remember when I got it on VHS back in the day...of course, this was already after Pokemon 2000 came out.

@Crystalbear: Wasn't there also a baby Nidoqueen in it? Or am I thinking of something else...if it did, that was weird.

EDIT: YES THERE WAS! (http://aquabunny.creativeworlds.net/articles/breed/BabyNQ1.png)

!: Don't cry Nidoqueen! You can always adopt!

Reply tveye, December 18th, 2011, 1:48 am

: @Applekai13: I like to think that's what they end up doing :)

Reply Jamboree (Guest), December 18th, 2011, 7:57 am

: @tveye: that baby Nidoqueen is cute as hell!!! <3 the onlt issue is if its that small and already a Nidoqueen, it must know 0 attacks accept scratch and sand attack xD

@applekail13: they dont have 2 adopt, Nidoking can do this http://www.smackjeeves.com/images/pb/1/1ksNbF4iPLgv8PEmjh8Z1T.png

Reply Crystalbear, December 18th, 2011, 3:22 pm

: @tveye: Bare in mind that the special was created before GSC, which introduced breeding we know today. =P

Reply NuzlockingMagma, December 22nd, 2011, 6:36 pm

: @Crystalbear: Uhm NO! Mewtwo Strikes Back is the one I confused Mewtwo Returns with. Anyways I looked some stuff up, ok it IS a special but I count it as a movie ok? ;u;

Reply AxelThePokegodTrainer, March 14th, 2012, 5:19 am

: I've been trying to make an "Infertile Nidqueen" joke for ages. But now I don't need to. Very touching.

Reply tabi (Guest), June 2nd, 2012, 2:33 am

: The pokedex entries say it protects its babies and stuff, so there's really no explanation for why it can't breed. Maybe it's just too shy to breed in-front of the daycare people, or only gives live birth? idk but it can't breed with anything, not even ditto or ryhorn, which is weird because usually only legendaries are unbreedable.
